Description
Set up pallets in work area for unload team * Ensure all seals on RDC trucks are intact and correct * Unload RDC truck freight effectively and safely * Identify and isolate all special orders from truck for processing * Ensure freight is placed on the correct pallet for corresponding departments * Ability operate power equipment Forklifts - order pickers - pallet jacks etc Maintain communications with managers for department needs and concerns * Follow all safety rule and regulations * Ensure all king pin locks are removed from RDC trucks once the unload process is completed * Ensure receiving area is clean at the end of shift * Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly professional manner and provide quick responsive customer service. * Physical ability to move large bulky and/or heavy merchandise. * Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing sitting and other activities necessary to perform my job duties
