Stephen has over thirty six (37) years of experience in the construction industry twelve of those years working on underground projects with over ten (10) years as a full time Safety Professional overseeing safety health and environmental programs for major excavation civil structural and tunnel projects. Stephen has extensive and diverse experience in the construction industry reinforced concrete structural work civil works manufacturing and utilities as well as operation rebuild repair and maintenance of heavy equipment. Stephen is a voratious learner and determined to achieve his CSP designation from the BCSP. There is no type of construction practices disapline or safety procedures that Stephen has not worked around or cannot learn. produces, Fort MacKay, Alberta, Canada, $500 Million light sweet crude petroleum from the oil sands of the region and has for decades. The renovation rebuild and replacement of the mine are required to maintain production and increase efficiency. Environmental stewardship of the region is also a driving factor to the project. Stephen's role here is as the anchor of the nightshift Safety team helping to keep the 1200 workers from all trades and regions safe through training coaching and mentoring.
