EXPERIENCE SUMMARY As a seasoned Technologist, I have been involved in many aspects of IT-focused Infrastructure Management, Systems Administration, Application Support and Engineering Architecture. Over the last 12 years I have been heavily involved in Cloud Technology, which has included management, migration, implementation and overall support. I have been tasked to help guide, recommend, design, distribute, maintain and manage various Cloud and Hosted (SaaS) on demand software solutions and migration initiatives. In other related roles I have been engaged to help scope, define, implement, manage and support technology solutions and architectures. Even while in various Management roles I have strived to remain technically hands-on as I believe this is very important and necessary to be truly effective in this industry. I have also been involved in hiring, managing, training and mentoring Staff as I have over 15 years of Staff Management ranging from as few as 4 and up to as many as 150 direct and indirect reports. Involved in While in this role, I acted mainly as the internal Sr. Systems Administrator (mostly Linux-based systems), handling the day-to-day support of all internal systems (over 200). This included but was not limited to: Network and Systems Administration, new system installs, troubleshooting complex system and application issues, design strategy, customer support, training of Jr. Admins. * Installed and supported CardConnect Proprietary software on all Linux, Solaris, AIX, HPUX and Windows environments, including providing SunGard Hosted Solutions support (Cloud and SaaS Models). Support entailed installation of multiple applications: Java JRE, Oracle, MySQL and MS SQL databases, SAP ECC and Oracle E-Business Financials, managed internal development and test systems, as well as all customer installed systems ongoing * In a Systems Engineering capacity, administered internal SAP Basis and Oracle support and Unix/Windows-based system administration functions for Development and Support staff as well as customer Hosted and Non-Hosted environments * While acting as Technical Delivery Manager, I was tasked with providing technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration of CardConnect's proprietary (cardconnect/cardsecure) applications across multiple client engagements. Additionally, I managed and oversaw Projects from the definition phase to their implementation and all the way thru to Go-Live. Cardconnect offers both Cloud-based (SaaS) and Premise-based solutions, as well as provides Hosting Services working in conjunction with SunGard as a managed hosting partner. * Defined, oversaw and managed multiple technical teams and Customer implementation Projects within budget and project schedule. * While working directly with various Sales teams in both a pre and post Sales capacity, I utilized and maintained a Salesforce CRM database to better manage clients and accounts as well as a SharePoint Database for logging and tracking all customer engagements * Ensured that all Customer-based Project Managers were well informed of ongoing status of development efforts and serve as liaison between the development staff and the clients project management and Technical Teams across multiple engagements, while simultaneously interacted in both pre and post-Sales efforts for CardConnect's Cloud (SaaS) and non-Cloud-based offerings * While remaining current in all facets of the business, maintained and adhered to PCI-DSS and PA-DSS compliance standards within the company as well as how it affects customer base. Helped define SLA requirements affecting support of existing and future customer's all aspects of support with regard to the AT&T Gemini program. Primary Management for Development Labs at Middletown NJ location supporting over 50 Developers as this Program is dependent on a highly complex multi-faceted infrastructure and lab environment requiring dedicated network and systems administration. Worked with a group of Developers in the creation of Cloud "Pay as you Go" based offerings for internal and external Customers. Make recommendations for Hardware Software and Network designs. This included cost analysis and budgeting. This was primarily a Windows and VMware environment where we utilized Dell IBM and HP Hardware. Worked heavily with Red Hat/Centos and Ubuntu Linux-based installs. * Utilizing MS Visio documented the architecture design of recommend and implemented Hardware and Software Solutions. This included Network drawings as well as specific configuration drawings. Also involved with Network troubleshooting cable tracing etc RH kickstart process and SUN jumpstart process Solaris 9/10 Containers/Zones VMWARE virtualization storage systems such as SAN and NAS and security products such as firewalls authentication etc. Involved in initial infrastructure design phase of the Data Center as it related to our Customers requirements which included a number of Cloud based (SaaS) offerings. I was also involved with recommending and defining system requirements for a Windows and Unix implementation. My involvement was with not only the Network and Support Design but also with the Software Vendor and Customer in defining which Platforms fit their technical Requirements. Managing 4 direct reports, Midrange Datacenter /Technical Project/Delivery Manager, New York City, NY * Performed direct software installations and upgrades to Unix operating systems and layered software packages and their maintenance in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements. * While located on-site at their NY City Manhattan Data Center, I performed the installation, configuration and support of Unix and Windows-based systems and software in support of multiple business processing requirements for our customers, while Managing the onsite Midrange Lab team. We offered Cloud Solutions (Hosted) to our various customers (City of NY, Bridges and Tunnels, etc.), and were held under strict SLA (Service Level Agreement) Guidelines, and were monetarily responsible if service is not met within a timely manner. In conjunction with SLA support, we had to adhere to strict Change Management protocols, utilizing IBM's TSO ChangeMan and Remedy ticketing and control systems. * Designed, Implemented and Deployed Disaster Recovery Strategies for entire supported Manhattan Datacenter Midrange server base.
