Description
COVER LETTER: Dear Sir or Madam, I was previously employed as an Account Manager where I had plenty of interaction with clients, carriers, and members, via phone and email. While there, I created census's, quotes, comparison sheets, along with renewals, and open enrollment packets. I also visited the clients location to explain to them the new renewal rates and the other carrier's comparison rates. Prior employment included working as an Implementation Coordinator, where I managed close to 800 accounts within our Small Group Insurance Division. This involved daily interaction with producers, participants, as well as carriers. Due to corporate restructuring, the department was eliminated, and after 8 years of working in the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho area, I am looking to bring my talents, ambitions, and experience closer to the Spokane area. I currently have my Washington State Producer License for Disability, Life, Property and Casualty, and would very much like to continue my career in the Insurance Industry. Along with my dedication to clients, I have strong communication, computer, office and administrative skills. I am punctual, reliable, and love to learn. Problem solving, research, and customer service are at the top of my strength list. I can work as a team or independently. I have been in a professional office setting for many years. For nearly 5 years of my career, I have been in the Insurance Industry. Beginning with Peak1 Administration, where I worked in the Small Group Health Insurance Division. Over my tenure at Peak1 Administration, I have moved up through different departments. Beginning with payment processing, claims processing and managing accounts for brokers. I have been involved in quoting, processing participant enrollments, implementing new groups, group renewals, and high levels of customer service. I have great rapport with the agents, carriers, and clients. Customers are a very important part of business, and I pride myself in going above and beyond to help maintain loyal and repeat business. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. It would be a pleasure to meet with you and discuss my experience and skills further. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Linda M.
