CAREER HIGHLIGHTS FULLSTACK ENGINEER at VEDC Van Nuys, CA * 2013 - 2016 Developed Ruby on Rails application which allows businesses to apply for a loan, checks the credit score with Equifax, and runs through a series of checks to see if the application is preapproved, then submits that data into the company's proprietary MS SQL database as a sync relationship. I focused primarily on backend programming for this project. Managed Infrastructure including Exchange Server, Active Directory and Linux servers, engineered offsite backup synchronization and hired and trained desktop support staff. Major Achievements Used Ruby on Rails to develop internal and external facing web applications. Used Angular to create semi-SPA experience. Worked closely with staff to develop solutions to help facilitate the loan creation process. Utilized 3rd party external apis to gather customer information including credit reporting. Stored extensive data in MongoDB database. Performed MSSQL analysis on existing applications to create synchronization queries with new applications. Deployed Applications to bare metal environment. Transitioned existing servers into virtualized environment using vSphere. Trained IT staff Setup Linux servers to host intranet applications.
