COVER LETTER: Dear Hiring Manager, Kindly review my resume. For the past 15 years I have specialized in the area of SAP Basis and SAP Netweaver administration, 10 of those years at a senior level, and 7 at a technical lead level. I have worked as the technical lead during SAP and database implementations and upgrades along with continuing to support SAP applications hosted on Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers utilizing Oracle, SapDB, Sybase, and DB2 databases. I have lead technical project teams, created technical project plans, and executed many technical implementations, migrations, and upgrades successfully on time and within budget many times offering many cost saving solutions. My ideal position would be working as a SAP Technical lead mentoring junior level administrators while leading technical implementations and upgrades. The list of SAP system types I have installed, upgraded, and supported is extensive including - R/3, ECC (ERP), BW, BI/BO, BPC, PI, cFolders, cProjects, PLM, CRM, SRM, GRC, GTS, KW, Content Server, Trex, ITS, Portals, Solution Manager and various IDES solutions, I acquired my Oracle and SAP knowledge via 13 years of classes, user group sessions, in-house training courses, online computer based training and self education via publications and manuals. I also initially became familiar with the solutions while I assisted with building an in-house R/3 and BW landscape alongside an outside consultant over the course of one year. After the one year building and introductory phase, the internally educated team took over all administrative and support functions which included SAP system monitoring and administration, database system monitoring and administration, along with both SAP and Oracle security. Later over the years my role as a SAP Basis administrator / engineer transitioned and has been defined by both company requirements and the governing rules regarding segregation of duties. I feel I am an asset as I truly performed all three functions for almost a decade which is not only rare but also insures a backup resource is available if needed. I have worked in the corporate Information Technology field for over 20 years supporting companies 24 x 7 without even taking a break in between positions. It is only now, I am returning to the workforce after taking a two year hiatus to attend to urgent family matters. I am able to provide previous work reviews along with professional references upon request both of which would attest to my extensive SAP knowledge and experience.
