Annie Mac laid of the majority of their staff in Dec 2016 but unfortunately Plaza had company wide layoffs Jan 2017 and I was one of several laid off. RMIC - pulled all Contractors abruptly and were eventially shut down. City 1st Mortgage was 140 miles daily round trip. The owners goal was to open closer but the market did not allow that to happen. PRMI- I was dedicated to a Texas branch. The Texas branch left PRMI and the company they were going to did not have remote underwriters. I had the option to stay at PRMI but the drive is 105 miles round trip and it was not a remote position. Graystone- took an offer with IMPAC for a much higher salary. Impac Funding, out of business, they attempted to open an operations center in Utah but it failed and was shut down. WJ Bradley - laid off 360 employees at one time (including me) and now they are no longer in business. Megastar- we came to work one day to find the corporate office shutting the whole branch down because the owner of the branch had not paid rent, appraisal or credit invoices since opening.
