I was responsible for day-to-day workflow of the local office Information Governance department in accordance with the established procedures and policies. In this role I was responsible in assisting and educating the department staff in the proper creation conversion searching location filing and processing of documents (paper and electronic) and other work product utilizing the Firm's records management system (RMS) where applicable. Conducted and supervised primary services relative to daily operations of the local department Assist Firm personnel with the proper coding and classification of documents and other duties associated with matter management of billable workspaces within the Firm's document management system (DMS) Contributed requirements for annual operating budget planning for the local office in conjunction with Firm-wide Information Governance management strategic planning Assist the Firm Wide Information Governance Manager with issued legal holds and coordinate the identification collection and production of potentially responsive information in compliance with established policy and procedures Worked with the firm personnel on the location tracking and disposition of information as assigned and in compliance with established Firm procedures and policies. Work with the firm personnel in issuing Ethical Walls and coordinate the identification and labeling of responsive materials as well as updating the RMS and DMS Participate and offer whenever necessary assistance on special projects related to the information management needs of the Firm. Compile accurate and complete system generated reports based on requested criteria Conduct on-board/off-board briefings with personnel specific to orientation and departure obligations. Contribute to the development of the Information Governance management orientation programs for on-boarding new Firm personnel Coordinate the timely processing of information specific to attorney departures and arrivals Assist the Information Governance Manager with the compilation of staff performance documentation specific to the evaluation process Provide guidance to local office personnel specific to Information Governance policies procedures and best practices offsite vendors.
