After identifying the root cause of safety and quality incidents raised the team's awareness and accountability. Improved quality assurance from 55% quality issues to only 3%- after collecting a year of data and putting the information in graphs and flow charts, helped identify the root cause of the product mistakes. I completely changed the training method of both new hires and cross training. I made training manuals for each work station, which includes visuals, details, and part numbers of each product. Drove high level of productivity-shipping large orders same day, employees meeting their weekly production goals, and little to no turn around. Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to report and analyze data- helped manage the inventory numbers and levels. By creating this, I was able to keep the inventory lever the lowest at the end of the year. Improved accurate inventory numbers by creating exception reports-having employees fill out an exceptions reports when they were low on a part or out of a part and could not make the finished good. This helped several issues with inventory.
