Assistant Professor of Education, Division of Teaching, Learning and Leadership, College of Education, University of Idaho. In this position I was responsible for teaching a number of undergraduate and graduate courses in the teacher education and school administration programs. Each faculty member was also responsible for advising 20-30 students in either undergraduate or graduate programs. In addition, I chaired several doctoral dissertations. The courses that I taught are located later in this document. Major accomplishments: * Co-chaired the middle school connections organization for the state of Idaho. * I was the lead faculty in the reorganization of the teacher-education program. In this effort we moved from one-semester of student teaching to a full year internship for our students. This was a three year effort to move from a one semester model to a full year. The results were that over 90% of our graduates were hired within a two-year period. * Supervised over 35 teacher interns and evaluated curriculum development, instruction, and classroom procedures. August 1993 - September 1999. Teacher and Principal Designee, East Valley Middle School, Spokane Valley, WA. Taught algebra, biology and special education grades 6-8. In addition, in the absence of the principal or vice principal I served as the Principal Designee. From 1996 to 1999 I served in that capacity for over 180 school days. Adjunct Teaching 2001 - 2000 2003. Faculty Coordinator, Webster University, Extended Campus Fairchild AFB, WA. In addition to teaching several courses the duties of the faculty coordinator were to schedule all courses in five graduate programs, hire and supervise faculty. - 2012. Associate Adjunct Professor, Webster University Fairchild AFB. Teach a number of courses in the Human Resources Development, Managerial Leadership, and MBA programs.
