My name is Vanessa Nunes de Paiva and I am currently working as a Postdoc in Neuroimmunology in the laboratory Prof. Dr. Tomas Guilarte at the Florida International University. I majored in Biomedicine and my Master thesis was on Immunology. I will receive my Ph.D degree in Molecular Neuroscience at the University of Bonn in February 2014. Based on huge experience in the field of the Medical Publication Lead drives the medical publication strategy formulation in alignment with the program team, including the alignment with relevant functions like Clinical or Medical Affairs and I was also involved in different kinds of research related to microglia cell culture, neurons cell culture, western blotting, RT-PCR, Flow cytometry, Confocal microscopy, slides of embryos and adult mouse brain by cryostat, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, organ dissection in adult and mouse embryo (lymph nodes, spleen, liver, heart, brain, hippocampus, cortex, dorsal root ganglia), purifications of proteins and proliferation assay with animal cells. Currently I am doing also test of drug in animals developed neurodegenerative disease. I am sure that my profile will best suit your organizational requirement. I received solid knowledge of how to work with develop regulatory strategies and Manage the regulatory submission process during my technical training, conducted for a year and a half at the Federal University of São Paulo and then during four years at the University of Bonn. Apart from a master diploma, I have completed two accredited specialization and my exceptional knowledge of immunology, neuroscience and chemistry helped me to be at top during my academic tenure. I have more than eight years of experience with research and I have good hand on many complex and crucial strategies with experiments and work with big group.
