and Achievements * * Designed and implemented a conversion from frame relay to MPLS with application acceleration managed services for a major holding company supporting chemicals and industrial services. Benefit to client included reduction of bandwidth requirements and increase application response times. The revenue value of this opportunity was $4M. Lead Designed and implemented a $6M 36 site MPLS network with class of service WAN optimization and three regional hosting centers with Internet access and managed firewall services for a major film editing corporation. This design reduced firewall servers and Internet access points while allowing fail over services between each of the hosting centers. Lead Designed and implemented $2.7M MPLS network with class of services firewall hosting services with Internet access with managed video for a global footwear manufacturer. This design helped the client reduce their application response times and video solution allows for collaboration and quality of manufacturing design was supported over the video solution. * $3.7M MPLS design for a travel and leisure corporation. This solution included application performance reporting. Support the POS (point of sale) application for their retail locations with hosting services to support POS transaction to major credit card companies. * Designed full Ethernet switched Local Area Network replacing token ring. Implement and conducted all purchasing for hardware contracts and purchase orders Designed an NT server farm with storage sub-systems. Completed all necessary contracts and negotiations with all third party suppliers. Designed a switched Ethernet VLAN with spanning tree service as part of this project.
