Daily Duties at Jti:

Conduct all Operations in a safe manner, set up appointments with different clients Make sure contracts are in order and correct. Keep all contracts updated. Make sure invoices are put in correctly. Receive, review, and ensure appropriateness of drivers work assignments. Keep Customer Service dept. and Planners informed of issues that might impact customer performance Provide on-time, pick-up and delivery of loads. Understand and use the continuous improvement process and ensure drivers also understand and use the process. Analyze service failures to address problem issues, order office supplies as needed. Take pro-active steps aimed at the prevention of service failures. Provide mutual support during absence of other team members during peak times. Keep drivers informed, focused, and motivated, Monitor logs as needed. Give developmental feedback to drivers regarding their performance. Identify and resolve performance issues, answer multiple phone lines. Conduct regular business partnerships with all drivers/Assist in Customer Service Dept. Assist Planners and Brokers, check invoices, bill of laden, receipts, etc. Assist dispatchers as needed, dispatched drivers using the AS400 system and Qualcomm Work with Brokers, Import, Export, Logistic, Intermodal Worked in Shipping & Receiving for 2yrs then got promoted to different position, Invoices, Billing, order Do AM & PM checks on drivers and loads
