Distribution company representing CDR manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and Singapore for the North American Market. Designed & directed the company's sales activities and set sales goals and forecasts. Responsibilities included: developing pricing strategies, handling difficult sales negotiations especially with the large prospects or clients. Launched start-up of an optical media distributor. Designed & managed sales and marketing campaigns, including the Internet. Result: Drove sales growth to $1.2 million annually. Business-To-Business (B2B). Identified Key manufacturers for Optical Recordable Media. Traveled to Taiwan, negotiated exclusive US distribution rights. Result: Secured consignment inventory of $1.2M of recordable CDs (4.5M pieces) direct from a top manufacturer. Also secured direct distribution agreements from 3 additional manufacturers as secondary sources.
