Daily Duties at Plantgistix:
• Created a safe and organized working environment while improving morale and increased productivity by 13% and delivering high quality packaging products. • Coordinated preventative and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. • Work with sales and customer service to solve and prevent customer issues. • Accountable for 45 team members across 3 shifts in a premier provider of value-added logistics services and off-plant packaging facility that produces well over a billion pounds of resin per year. • Evaluated personnel and provided positive and critical feedback through evaluations to help improve the workforce. • Mentored team members to set Quality as their priority after Safety from a previous mindset of production first, leading to 4 years no loss time accidents. • Implemented visual manufacturing through, visual KPI’s, floor signs, work instructions posted throughout the work area, and accountability boards. • Accountable for the 23% reduction of manufacturing costs through improved production efficiencies, eliminating excessive maintenance inventory, lean tools and the effective deployment of capital and budgets.
