Daily Duties at Amazon Web Services:
As the Manager of Security Onboarding, responsible for managing two teams. The Security Onboarding team which consists of 12 TPMs that deep dive all of AWS external services to support FedRAMP, GDPR, HIPAA, IRAP, ISO, MLPS, PCI, and SOC security compliance assessments/remediation, and the Special Projects team, which consists of three TPMs and one security engineer that handles larger campaigns related security compliance that crosses multiple AWS services. Have built out in SharePoint our organization's Roadmap tool that manages 255 external AWS Services, 70 annual reassessments, and 30 internal tools. Raised the bar to optimize the Onboarding Runbook to scale at the same time going deeper into service security. Now driving compliance control automation and our organization's vision. Collaborating and influencing leadership across the organization. Built the team up from six to 16 in first year, and plan on doubling the team in the next six months to expand to other global locations.
