Daily Duties at Leisure Trends Group:
Managed a staff of 15 people in the day-to-day operations of a Retail Data Mining Operation and Market Research division. Used Cognos packages to mine data from SQL Database and present data to clients in the form of custom reports. Also designed and used reports to answer internal operating questions, and to create a more efficient flow of labor. Responsible for all aspects of collecting Data, Processing Data, Printing reports, Developing on line data cubes, explaining data, customer relationships, Financial Performance, employer/employee relationships, financial statement analysis, operations and business processes. Assisted sales department in the closing of sales to Manufacturers and Retailers interested in the data. Presented data analysis, and management theories, as it related to the data produced for clients.
