Daily Duties at Cvh Care:

The Chief of Staff plans and directs all strategic, operational, administrative, IT, compliance and quality, and human resources activities for CVHCare's Chairman and CEO. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the CEO to facilitate efficient decision making. Serves as a point of contact and gatekeeper to outside relationships/partnerships/networks and assesses inquiries directed towards the CEO, determines the proper course of action, and delegates or channels to the appropriate department, team, manager, or individual. Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. Advisor or sounding board to the Chief Executive. Supervises department chiefs and directors on behalf of the CEO and holds them accountable for their deliverables. Carries the weight and authority of the CEO. The Chief of Staff is also, ex officio, head of the Administration department which employs all support staff, admin staff, and executive assistants to other departments.
