Daily Duties at Travelers Insurance:
Direct daily human resources (HR) activities, supporting underwriters and operations staff of 450 employees in 23 business units located in seven locations in two states. Advance HR strategic planning by listening to customer groups articulate their needs and then determining appropriate staffing to achieve future business objectives. Consult with HR management and provide counsel on issues, including HR policies, career development, and secession planning. Collaborate with business partners on issues related to compensation. Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.
