Daily Duties at Carolinas Health Care System:

• Participate and lead project management including problem solving and issue resolution • Prepare and submit IRB paperwork and maintain all related regulatory document submissions • Responsible for patient recruitment • Design organizational tools/forms to facilitate accurate data collection compliant with federal regulations and sponsor policies/procedures • Assist with proper management of research funds • Insure patient safety and quality of research study data by effective protocol management and compliance with GCP • Submit and maintain appropriate correspondence with IRB and maintained ethical approval for studies from initial study approval through study amendments, annual continuations and final termination • Ensure safety and protocol adherence throughout clinical trial • Manage a collaborative Pharmaceutical/PI initiated project as the hub site for 9 major academic medical centers acting as CRA coordinator and monitor.
