Daily Duties at Behr Process Corporation :
Recruited to establish an IT Project Management Office (PMO). Developed and implemented project management disciplines and best practices across the IT organization. Established metrics to assess resource constraints and project status. Collaborated with senior IT and business executives to deliver strategic initiatives. ♣ Hired 3 Project Managers, who contributed to successfully implement 28 projects with multi-million budgets in less than a year. ♣ Managed the project funnel comprised of over 100 projects in various stages of the project life cycle with budgets ranging from $100K to $10M. ♣ Managed and developed 5 PMO staff through coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer, and performance. ♣ Worked closely with the VP of IT and Directors to prioritize projects and assign workload. ♣ Implemented a Project Management tool which enabled standardized reporting and metrics.
