Daily Duties at Sundstand Aerospace:
Lead (IC) Integrated Circuits Design Engineer in technical design and development of the standard cell CMOS digital and analog ASIC chips for power control systems. Wrote specification and designed standard cell digital CMOS micro controller chip (US2 1.2U, 110K gates) and CMOS pulse width modulation processor chip (US2. 1.2U, 90K gates). Tools Utilized: Genesil/GDT design entry, LSIM analog/digital simulator, using Mentor Graphics (v8.0) for chip design Designed built-in testable structures using JTAG (Boundary Scan) and LFSR. Developed functional and fault test vectors that achieved > 95% fault coverage. Application Software support for UNIX operating systems, updating Mentor applications and maintaining cell model library, on HP-Apollo and SUN Investigated and selected proper VLSI packages (Cerquad, Flat packs, 132LD, 196LD, 25 mil pitch) Designed 10 layer PCB electric power controllers, stepper and servo motor controls with real-time embedded software using Intel's 80186 processors, TI's TMS32020 DSP and ATT DSP32C. Designed microprocessor interface glue logic using EPLD, EP1800, EPM5016, ATV2500, ATV5000 and XC3000 FPGA
