• Responsible for business development, account penetration and client retention • Developed and maintained Key Accounts with Trane Co., second largest manufacturer of HVAC equipment with $5B+ in revenue • Directly managed 1/3 of the U.S. sales territory including key accounts in Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Louisville and Rochester among others • Managed a team of 7 marketing and sales professionals responsible for billings in excess of $8 million • Developed and presented pitch presentations to key Trane Marketing Leaders as well as large group advertising meetings for Trane dealers • Practiced consultative selling tactics to identify product solutions that meet the needs of clientele • Produced highly efficient and effective media plans in various regions of the United States for the Trane Account, utilizing cutting edge media planning software and developing multi-media proposals • Conducted extensive media training and consumer research using SQAD, MRI Data, Scarborough Research, Arbitron, ABC, TNS among others • Utilized nationally-placed TV and magazine placement, in addition to regional direct response tactics (using traditional media such as newspaper, radio and online ads) based on recommended Trane TRP guidelines to brand the company
