Daily Duties at Infosys Technologies Limited:
Identify business problems that can be addressed with IT solutions and own delivery from concept to implementation and advising technical groups on Database and ETL best practices. Extensively used Unix Shell scripting in interacting with the multiple Databases, automation of ETL processes, error handling, to perform analysis and troubleshoot the source data. Developing complex logic in informatica (ETL tool) , SQL queries and UNIX scripts to bring the business requirements to reality. Dimensional modelling using Star schema and Snowflake schema. Experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) data from various data sources into Data Marts and Data Warehouse using Informatica powercenter components Worked in Waterfall as well as agile environment.
