Daily Duties at Chevron Emc:

Managed Platform Removal Team (PRT) operations offshore including project planning, marine vessel selection for both diving and construction crew operations, structure removal, site clearance and disposal to meet the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit and Chevron Pipeline Companay abandonment requirements. Coordinated activities to present date including the successful removal of over 93 segment subsea pipelines utilizing a DP DSV involving extensive man hours of Diving and Topside construction crews. Also coordinated efforts for heavy lifts for removing multiple platforms to limit the liability for the Gulf of Mexico business unit. Achieved cost avoidance of over $ 1.5 MM on an abandonment of a Parrafin plugged pipeline. In addition to implementing the use and injecting Flowkleen into pipelines to limit prep time for pipeline removals resulting in cost avoidance, Diver hazards, Dive time and spills into the Gulf of Mexico for utilizing remote operated DWS and Shears. Coordinated all logistics and crews for mobilizing CEMC pipe pulling machine at Chevron’s new C- Port 3 facility eliminating valuable time required by DSC and Shorebase.
