Daily Duties at Liberty Health Advantage:
Oversaw the provider network within a predetermined territory, expand the network, credentialing/re-credentialing and contract with individual, large groups and ancillary providers. Assisted with the restructuring of credentialing within the provider services department by developing new workflow processes. Ensured the Plan upholds its compliance with all government agencies through internal audits. • Identified weaknesses within the network • Performed and documented site surveys during the credentialing and re-credentialing process. • Researched and solved escalated provider issues • Recruited providers to contract with the Plan • Resolved claim issues while maintaining positive relationships • Assisted in the development, redesign, and implementation of departmental work processes, policies and procedures • Interfaced with providers concerning various critical issues, including, but not limited to: member issues, claims resolution, network termination, authorizations, and pre-certification • Led monthly Credentialing Committee Meetings
