Daily Duties at Costco Wholesale:

Lead 23 Associates who supported Desktop Management Services, Help Desk Operations and Client Integration activities which included projects, methods, procedures, policies and Service Management. Maintained operational customer support of 35k+ associates only through Help Desk Support for all IT supported functions for the Enterprise. Actively managed daily system development activities to meet schedules and resolve complex system problems. Provided associate development and mentoring training to help them stay engaged to do their best every day. Ensured that strategies were well thought out and communicated to effectively meet business requirements and service level agreements. Developed training programs for team Associates to help strengthen their skills and competencies on current and future technical and leadership requirements. Developed and managed team budgets and worked with other IT leaders to align them with budget operational and capital forecasts according to fiscal year planning. Interfaced with a variety of vendors that provided products and services to the organization to ensure aggressive pricing, high quality maintenance support and products that are at desired maintenance levels. As part of the IT management team, worked to define strategies, metrics and operating procedures to help develop a “best in class” organization. Conducted briefings and participated in technical and non-technical meetings with internal and external representatives concerning specific system functions, technologies and project updates.
