− Provide coordination and leadership for Maricopa County Environmental Services Department, an enterprise department employing 300 professional and administrative staff responsible for environmental health services, seeking to prevent and remove food borne and water contamination risks to nearly 4 million residents of Maricopa County. − Achieved annual and five-year strategic planning initiatives were department-wide. − Responsible for management of the Department's $23 million annual budget efforts including ensuring that the Department’s performance initiative was achieved while adhering to fiscal policies. − Advise and inform county and state political leadership and elected officials to promote the Department and ensure constituent responsiveness to issues and concerns. − Present information to various governing boards, and operationalize their instructions and guidance. − Solicit feedback from various stakeholder groups to improve operations and community involvement
