Daily Duties at United States Army:
My most important and most treasured duty was to lead, train, mentor, and take care of soldiers and their families (as many as 230 soldiers). I held four major roles while in the Army: 1. Battalion Resource Manager: conducted purchasing and managed budget for 600-man battalion. 2. Vertical Engineer Platoon Leader (in combat): led 54-soldier platoon in base construction and other engineer tasks. 3. Battalion Training Officer: Planned and scheduled all battalion training events 4. Company Commander: Led drill sergeants in the training of initial entry soldiers.
What they like about United States Army:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
