Daily Duties at Mattel Export Latin America:
-Responsible for Mattel Export’s costs accounting. -Accountable for the inventory-cost cycle, calculation and analyses of actual costs. Calculation of cost variances and currency fluctuation impacting the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). -Provide calculation, allocation and booking of other associated production, distribution and Transportation (D&T) cost variances. -Reconciliation and analyses of Inter-companies and third parties sourcing. -Control of inventories and maintenance shipping and invoicing processes. -Keep consistency of inventory valuation and related accounts. -Reconcile B/S and P&L related accounts and calculation of required accruals for excess and obsolescence reserves. -Keep the integrity of transactional systems (OMNI), interfaces to Oracle GL and validate its roll up for consolidation into Hyperion. -Design SOP’s to establish and keep internal controls for physical inventories in the three distribution centers located in Miami, Puerto Rico, and China. -Provide information to financial planning for COGS / Inventory budgets on periodical forecasting processes.
