Daily Duties at Nagaaa:

As Commissioner, the organizational structure and fundraising were two key initiatives during my tenure. Funding for this non-profit was paramount, and securing sponsorship monies from major corporations like Pepsi Co, Aquafina, Subaru, Miller/Coors, Absloute Vodka, Diageo Spirits, American Airlines, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels. Annual budget depending on the city was approximately $300K. In addition, the local city government was critical in creating this event. I was responsible to forecast revenue and expenses in a budget cycle

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
