Daily Duties at Unicom Com Ed:
. Non-licensed Mechanical Operators operate commercial Nuclear Power plants. They operate valves in both the primary and/or secondary plant and electrical breakers below 480V in accordance with procedures and/or the direction of the reactor operators and senior reactor operators. They have extensive knowledge in the design of the reactor they are operating and general knowledge in chemistry, physics, nuclear decay chains, thermodynamics, engineering, fire protection, Hazmat, and confined space rescue.
