Daily Duties at Unicom Com Ed:

Upgraded to a managerial capacity, Identifies, evaluate, and correct errors caused by inappropriate decision making, human behavior, leadership practices or organizational weaknesses that impact safety and/or operational performance. The results of these actions are to ensure that organizational learning is incorporated into training, methods, and procedures to support an organizational culture of continuous improvement. - Mentors and directs teams of investigators and subject matter experts in the performance of Root Cause Investigations (RCI) of significant operational and safety related incidents. Participates in and occasionally leads selected investigations. - Trains and mentors personnel across the organization in the conduct of incident investigations. - Collects and analyzes company-wide performance data derived from investigations and other sources in order to provide conclusions and recommendations to Senior Management to support improved performance. - Provides mentoring and quality oversight of Human Performance improvement initiatives, assisting in plan development and implementation. – Owns and manages the Performance Assessment process, to include: Incident Investigations, Action Tracking process for investigation and corrective action tracking and reporting, trend analysis and reporting, performance indicators, investigation training and qualification, data management and quality control, and organizational authority. - Mentors investigators and operations leadership in the use of systematic problem-solving and investigative techniques; facilitating the performance assessment efforts to ensure timely and effective completion of investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence; and analysis of reports and data to identify emerging performance trends and prevent incidents through pro-active management attention and actions.
