As Vice President and General Manager I was responsible for all managers, traders, staff and production employees (95) at all five business locations which generated annual sales of $140 million. Critical to the success of the change in management (when I was hired) was the improvement and development of current financial information system. Business strategy, budgeting, sales program management, capital improvement in manufacturing, developing a culture of teamwork and professionalism and improving profits were established as paramount to achieving company goals of this subsidiary unit.
