Daily Duties at Aramark Healthcare At Albany Medical Center:
Planned, directed and controlled three food service locations for clients of Albany Medical Center. Total managed annual volume $14M. Managed team of 120 salaried and non-salaried staff. Program provided clinical services to an average 550 patient census, as well as delivering patient tray service, and retail services to visitors and staff. Accountable for managing all regulatory requirements, including successfully leading department through three JCAHO surveys and annual Department of Health inspections without recommendations for change/improvements. Responsible for meeting with client weekly and providing formal financial and operational status reports. Accountable for creating annual strategic business plans and annual reports. Hired, trained, evaluated, promoted and/or terminated all food service management staff. Served on hospital-wide Emergency Response Committee. Led Food Service team through contract re-bid, successfully earning a 10 year contract renewal.
