Daily Duties at Computer Sciences Corporation(Csc), Sterling, Virginia(Client Site – General Dynamics Burlington, Vermont):

My day-to-day responsibilities for the General Dynamics project in Burlington, VT were as follows: There were 15 Oracle consultants assigned to this project, 10 Functional and 5 Technical The client had about 20 resources for this project, some were located in Burlington, Vermont and some were located at all the other sites; Lincoln, NE, Camden, AK, Marion, VA, SACO, ME, Deland, FL All work performed by me was done in Burlington, Vermont I submitted a weekly status report to the CSC Project Manager We had meetings with the client twice a month to discuss status I was originally responsible for some of the overall design of the conversions for all 6 sites that were to be done for all the above sites. I worked with the clients from all 6 sites to complete the design. I was then assigned to code the BOM conversion for the first site to be implemented which was in Lincoln, Nebraska I was also assigned to Design and Develop the code for the Oracle Quality conversion for a Tool Tracking system and to Design and Develop a custom Workflow for issuing notifications for receipts of Government property all for this same site. I was responsible for supporting the Lincoln go-live effort and I was located in Burlington, Vt. with several other technical people. I was then re-assigned to another General Dynamics division called Land Systems. My day-to-day responsibilities for the Design and Develop a new Oracle Time and Labor(OTL) custom program were as follows: Land systems is another division of General Dynamics and they needed a custom program written for remote time card entry There was myself plus one other person assigned to this project. I was the only Technical resource The other person was a Functional user of the system. This was a custom program which would allow people in remote locations to submit their time card information in a spread sheet from a remote location and then the program would obtain the information from the spreadsheet and update the time card into Oracle using the Oracle Time and Labor(OTL) API. I submitted a weekly status report to a local client manager I created a design document and submitted it to the client for review and it was approved Most of my time was spent writing code and working with the Functional user that was also part of the team All of the work for this was done remotely from my home
