Daily Duties at Unisys:
My role was as a Trainer with 100% travel and a Full time employee of the UNISYS Corporation. I was assigned to a team of trainers to Train and deploy the AHLTA EMR to the US Military services of the Army, Air Force and Navy at Military Hospitals and clinics at Bases around the world. My responsibilities included Classroom training for Physicians, Nurses and Administrative personnel at these locations. These sessions involved the training of users on the features and how to navigate within the application. In addition, I also provided Post classroom On the Job, (OJT) training to these professionals. For nearly 18 months, I trained at locations ranging from VANCE AFB in Oklahoma to the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego and to clinics like the Naval Clinic in Naples, Italy. My longest stay was at the prestigious Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. for 6 months. The training materials consisted of PPT slides, and tri-part reference guides. were used on a consistent basis from the classroom to the Task lists that was part of OJT support.
