Daily Duties at Intellect Resources:
My responsibilities as a Corporate trainer for the MEDHOST EMR was to 1. provide classroom training for Doctors and Nurses by Department/Clinic on Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) and Clinical Documentation using Voice Recognition software. 2. Provide GO-LIVE support to the clinics when deployed in the Real environment. For nearly 3 weeks, and working 12 hour shifts, I worked closely with both Physicians and Nurses. Training the Physicians also involved training them on the M*Modal Fluency Voice recognition software. This software allowed the Physician to dictate their Progress notes into the EMR. I worked closely with Nurses on training them how to submit Orders, and Searching for the current medications and doing completion matching into the EMR.
