Daily Duties at Cota (Central Ohio Transit Authority):

Manage both fixed and para transit assets, cost, parts, fuel, and labor as well as purchase replacement assets. Provide new technology that is environmentally friendly reducing the company carbon footprint. Improve maintenance programs through root cause analysis and working with part suppliers to eliminate deflects and premature failures. Develop ways to eliminate labor cost through improved practices and quality programs and enhanced training. Provide guidance to six direct reports who manage 120 hourly employees on a 24/7 work schedule.
