Daily Duties at University Of Miami:

This are some my current position responsibilities: .- Review new protocols and materials provided by Study Sponsors to give input to Principal Investigator and Managers regarding clinical research standards to determine financial and clinical feasibility. .- Coordinate implementation of protocols for several Research Protocol Including Corevalve IDE, and Continued Access Study as well as the Symplicity HTN Renal Denervation research projects with appropriate departments throughout the University of Miami Health System by interacting with Principal Investigators and Clinical Managers/Supervisors and staff, providing in-service education for healthcare professionals and working with the cath lab, Imaging and hospitalization departments as well as the outpatient clinic to ensure a smooth project flow. .- Assists with preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) materials related to initial review and approval of new studies as well as continual reports, reportable event notifications and other IRB Related material .- Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure applicable study supplies. .- Develop appropriate protocol information sheets and preprinted protocol order sets for new investigational protocols and revise as indicated throughout the study period. Using multidisciplinary input in developing order sets. .- Continued communication with study sponsor and/or designee throughout study. .-Screen patients for eligibility on assigned clinical trials in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards. .- Assists with managing research subjects on assigned clinical trials, which includes: scheduling protocol required study visits, ensuring that all protocol required testing and treatments are done per protocol, drawing and management of research samples. .- Coordinate study-monitoring visits and help in data analysis, writing and submission of manuscripts, and abstracts for publication as appropriate.
