Provided technology support, financial planning, project management, investment optimization, network development, infrastructure management and web tool applications. Countries supported: Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Caribbean (Non – US) and Panama markets. Duties: Increased volume revenues of $1.6 billion per year by providing day to day support to merchants on transaction processing products and software. Analytic tasks included: monitoring over 11 million transactions per year ensuring successful processing. Accountable for increasing 35% of profits by providing project planning strategies to enable merchants and banks to process American Express transactions by certifying end to end processes and new products certifications. Achieved cost reduction on 42% by scheduling and allocating resources for the migration of outdated mainframes into modern systems and processes, implementing new technology devices, and online services product administration/training. Developed process improvement strategies and maintained strategic liaisons with IT teams, financial institutions, vendors and suppliers to keep finances in track and within the department’s operational budget.
