Daily Duties at Dominican University Of California:
Responsible for introducing, implementing and growing a new recreational sports program for the university students • Responsible for introducing, implementing and growing a new recreational sports program for the university students • Implement a marketing strategy that will cast a wide net over the student body to join intramural and club sports • Researched and implemented a brand new software plug-in to manage all aspects of rec sports called IM Leagues • Manage social media, newsletter all other outreach sources • Work with the Sports Information Director to build website presence, assist in building their brand • Direct the John Allen Athletic Club community outreach program to local high schools that will encourage youth to engage in intramural sports on DUC campus. Have talked to about 1500 students for our feasibility study • Manage budget for fiscal year and gain support for future increases in funding • Have successfully launched a brand new Rec Sports program with 243 students participating since March 1, 2014 • Have been able to quadruple the budget for this coming year after showing promise of a successful launch and future of the Recreational Sports Program
