Daily Duties at Lifescan Llc:

Responsible for payroll processing, which included reconciliation of headcount, wate and salary. Compared the total headcount reported to the budget reported to analyze variances. Benefits administration liaison between Hewitt Associated and our plant management.This included all employee benefits enrollment, medical coverage, insurance and retirement plans. Performance evaluations for approximately 275 employees, salary surveys, special awards: the performance evaluation process consisted of a annula performance review. This was a process in which some employees were not "happy" with the results as they thought it was not fair enough. In this particular case, a process was established in order to get employees evaluated initially twice a year, and after that, every quarter. This would help all employees where they were standing every 3 months and allowing them to enhance their strenghts and work on their opportunities. HR systems implementation: lead in the development and implementation of the trainR training system for the Puerto Rico facility. This was a project identified after an observation from the FDA, in which it was stated that we did not have a robust system to prove that all employees were trained in the appropriate controlled documents. The trainR system was initially implemented at California, Puerto Rico and later on at the Canada facility. Worked in the implementation of timekeeper systems for the Puerto Rico site, which included Kronos, Workforce, ADP time keeper systems and HRIS and JJEMS payroll systems. In regards to the system implementations, it would also include working with the timekeeper systems company in order to assure that all hour calculations were done according to the applicable labor laws. This process usually included reviewing the internal J&J policies and procedures. The last revision, included a policy harmonization process between all J&J sites located in Puerto Rico. Most facilities were working independently, and for better alignment.
