Daily Duties at Pyramid Systems, Inc:

Responsible for leadership and management of all company operations, including technology, federal programs, HR, business development, contracts, and quality management. Transformed the company from a small 8a family business -- on the verge of shrinking after graduating from 8a status -- to a professional consulting firm staffed with and led by top-notch talent, doubling the company’s revenue and tripling its profits during economically challenged time for government contractor. Captured prime IDIQ vehicles including DHS EAGLE II, SEC DIOMDS, 8a STARS II, MOBIS, and eFAST as well as multiple prime contracts at HUD, FAA, DOS, FDIC, DHS, SEC, USDA, DELL, and DYNCORP etc. • Recruit, develop and mentor senior and department managers as part of the succession plan to create an effective and self-sufficient organization with the characteristics of a Chaordic organization through a strategic/methodical design and implementation process. • Conduct strategic planning for the business, setting corporate goals and working with department managers to align initiatives to corporate goals with a balanced scorecard approach. • Provide strategic consulting and technical advisory services to executive-level federal and commercial clients in implementing SOA using state of the art technologies, infrastructure modernization/management, network engineering, security compliance, telecommunications management, virtualization and cloud computing, iterative development methodology combined with federal agency SDLC, and business decision making process focused on technology utilization. • Provide leadership to technology team including successful bidding and execution of IT contracts with a focus on Federal government clients. • Lead and mentor a team of executives as well as cutting edge architects to enable business success through innovative and efficient application of technology. • Lead/conduct contracts management/negotiation of federal government contracts, vendor and consulting services, and ensures timely and favorable resolutions. • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction across the federal and commercial portfolios. • Provide leadership and coaching to the best and brightest staff while maximizing productivity through motivation, empowerment and putting the right people in the right roles with the right structure. • Advise and lead IT operations to achieve maximum benefit for the investment through vendor selection/negotiation, asset management, resource planning, security management, governance, systems engineering and software management. engineering/management/improvement to maximize savings while ensuring quality service, network/server management. • Conduct continuous research of technology and government contracting trends; lead R&D to maintain the edge in technology while motivating top-notch technical staff through opportunities to learn/play with new technologies. • Lead strategic customer relationship management and partner/subcontract management. • Provide direct leadership and executive oversight management of strategic contracts; serve as technical PM for large federal programs and IDIQs.
