Daily Duties at Space And Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific:
Conduct, Review and Update Computerized Self Evaluation Checklists; coordinate efforts between Commander Naval Air Forces, Fleet Support Team San Diego, and Marine Air Control squadrons. Provide follow-up assistance, and feedback to Air Traffic Controls detachments and provide resolve to deficiencies and discrepancies noted during Computerized Self Evaluation Checklist inspections. Develop quality assurance programs and procedures for Marine Air Traffic Control Maintenance community. Review equipment maintenance instructions, directives, and technical manuals and recommend any necessary improvements, and corrections. Review for accuracy and provide corrections to collected Air Traffic Control detachment systems maintenance data. Review tool / electronic test equipment requirements, and recommend necessary allowance changes to meet emerging or changing needs. Facilitate and support various organizations’ requests for research, technical support and training assistance. Conduct acceptance / transfer inspections of Air Traffic Control systems. Assist in Air Traffic Control systems configuration management and quality control. Assist in the administration, and review of the planned maintenance system (PMS). Provide expertise in technical Publications, directives, and lesson plan reviews.
