Daily Duties at Intervise :
I worked for Intervise who was the subcontrator to NorthRop Gruman. Working as a Civilian Contractor, I was the Army Sustainment Trainer for bases in New Jersey, principally FT DIX and Ft Monmouth and them subsequently Ft. Hamilton in Brooklyn, NY. My responsibilities included being the single and solitary Trainer training New users who came to the Clinic, supporting existing users, namely Physicians who needed assistance on Searching for the illness specific template, OR assisting them in creating a New Template for their use. Also at these clinics, I had to work with the Immunizations clinics at all 3 locations to build their inventory and ensuring that the Soldiers and Family Immunizations history was documented in the EMR. In addition, I traveled between these clinics which were 25-30 miles apart between Trenton and Monarch, NJ. On Fridays, I traveled to FT Hamilton in Brooklyn. I drove 300 milles a week.
What they like about Intervise :
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
