Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente:

Managed 9 of 22 major processes under the SOX PMO. Promoted to Director of Finance, Pharmacy Division. Responsibilities: Established two departments 1) National Pharmacy Internal & Financial Controls and SOX Compliance 2) Pharmaceutical Rebates Financial Reporting. Responsible for management of the SOX compliance program (controls development / evaluation, process review / evaluation, testing, remediation and training), rebates tracking invoicing and budget management. Responsible for: • Designed and implemented eProcurement controls, system/business/processes for PeopleSoft and ePIMS PDX. Designed and improved the SOX and financial control matrices, resulting in standardized operational processes nationally while reducing the audit scope related to the Model Audit Rule. Managed remediation over 150 IAS & SOX deficiencies. • Managed and streamlined communications from all audit groups minimizing cost duplication and operational impacts. Documented financial and business processes for all areas of pharmacy both regionally and nationally.
