Daily Duties at Ma Caulay Brown, Inc:
Rated number 1 of 12 Project Managers under the Program Manager and the most impressive performer of 2012. Cited my the Deputy Commander, Navy Captain Dan Donovan as "Chuck has made an immeasurable positive impact on advancing the WMD-E construct in the field and Department of Defense. He commands the fullest respect and support of those with whom he works, and I would recommend him for any exercise development leadership role. He demonstrated that he is a true expert when it comes to creating comprehensive and complex exercises needed to train and prepare joint forces in forming a Joint Task Force for WMD Elimination (JTF-E) operations. " Responsible for and additional $200K in revenue being added to the contract during the period of performance. Led the MacB Team's on site support of the Standing Joint Force Headquarters for Elimination (SJFHQ-E) consisting of seven individuals dispersed throughout the personnel (1), logistics (2), training and exercise (3), and communication automation (1) mission support areas. Maintained visibility of the quality products being submitted by the members of the MacB Team with a 95% accuracy rate and provided insight to MacB individuals seeking advice on approaches to successfully accomplishing daily taskers they were responsible for. Coordinated contractor manpower surge requirements necessary to meet increased exercise overhead requirements to provide technically competent and emotionally mature individuals capable of replicating entities designed exercise purposes as well as capture key and essential data feedback for archive and facilitated after action review (FAAR) purposes while remaining within budgetary guidelines. Responsible for managing the unit's Joint Exercise Life Cycle and ensuring that coaching, teaching, and mentoring were applied inorder to ensure the unit and its members were prepared to undertake and perform their roles as a unit during exercises. Furthermore, oversaw and conducted all required exercise coordination and planning necessary to ensure that the units training objectives were captured and scenario events were developed to set conditions and situations that allowed unit members to perform their unique functions in concert with other organizations. As the senior controller, based upon my observations and feedback from other controllers I determined focus items that I specifically wanted Controllers to key in on. At the end of exercises I conducted 5 hour data dumps with all the controllers in sessions where we analyzed all the material seen during each phase of the operation. Finally, sat with the unit commander and provided him feedback on what the controllers and I had seen prior to developing our material for the Facilitated After Action Review that every unit member had to attend. At the end of the final AAR, I ensured that all findings were archived in the Joint Training Information System (JTIMS) for all to see and review. We would also use these findings to assist the commander in preparing his upcoming yearly training guidance.
What they like about Ma Caulay Brown, Inc:
A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
