Daily Duties at American Jewish World Service:
• Answer and direct a high volume of calls to the appropriate individuals, divisions or department • First point of contact for all visitors and clients; answer questions and direct them to the appropriate individuals • Assess the needs of clients and refer them to appropriate services available throughout the organization • Generate weekly time sheets, track vacation days and prepare new hire packets for employees • Assist with interviewing candidates ; schedule interviews • Manage outgoing vendor payments; tracked wire transfer activity • Organize and maintain office supplies, files, records and visitors book • Record all special deliver, couriered or recorded post and, sign for items/goods delivered when required • Sort incoming mail and outgoing courier packages • Update company’s telephone directories • Booked conference rooms for meetings and other events
