- Founded a business, marketing and special events consulting company focused on sustainability practices with direct responsibilities of managing up to ten independent contractors. - Received a $105,000 government-funded grant through the National Institutes of Health to develop the Independent Home Life Web site as a guide for home health care products and services to assist seniors in living safely in their homes. - Established EverCare Home Health Services, Inc., a Cleveland, OH-based home health care agency; successfully completed the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) self-study; application accepted for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. - Conducted the mystery shop efforts to gain competitive intelligence on event planning, sourcing, housing, registration, and lead retrieval product lines for Experient, A Maritz Travel Company. - Created and implemented a Web site optimization plan based upon organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to gain maximum positioning within search engine listings, increase qualified traffic, and create the Internet infrastructure for optimal Web site performance for I.D.E.A.S., Inc. (Innovative Designs in Environments for an Aging Society). - Established October Research Corporation as a Continuing Education/Continuing Legal Education (CE/CLE) provider in over 22 states and oversaw all state requirements to maintain provider and course approval. - Orchestrated the yearly, regional three-day race event for the Great Lakes Offshore Powerboat Racing Association (GLOPRA), including marketing material development, vendor and venue contract negotiations, and onsite event execution.

Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary.
